5-6 PM: Registration
6-7 PM: Welcome with Brandon Myers, Mayor Kelliher, Flag presentation, Hero tribute
7-8 PM: Speaker
Saturday 9/12-

8-9 AM: Registration
9-9:30 AM: Welcome
9:30-11:45 AM: **Intro to Search and Rescue: Basics of a Successful Search – The Scottsbluff search team leader, Bob Hessler, will walk us through basic search and rescue, what it entails and how to be successful.
11:45-1 PM: Lunch
1-2 PM: Fire Suppression: When is it too big to handle? The North Platte Fire Marshal, Mike McConnell, will talk about the steps to a successful fire suppression and give pointers on when you should let the professionals take over. A hands-on simulator will be available.
**Intro to Livestock and Animals during a disaster. Michael Gibson from the NE Dept of Ag, will talk about the often overlooked & forgotten aspect of a disaster, animals.
2-2:15 PM: Break
2:15-3:15 PM: Knot tying Colten Chandler, NP Fire/Rescue will provide a hands-on class that will teach you a variety of knots that can be used during a search/rescue or in everyday life.
Preparedness on a Budget. Jennifer Krajewski will talk about cost-friendly preparedness options.
3:15-3:45 PM: Break
3:45-5 PM: Intro to Drones-Future of Search and Rescue? Isaac Piper will provide an overview of the role that drones can play during a search as well as a beginner’s instruction to drones.
5-7 PM: Supper
7-9 PM: Hands on experience with drones, fire suppression and knot tying.
**This class is an introduction to with full classes available upon request from the instructor.
Sunday 9/13-
8-9 AM: Register teams for Obstacle Course
9-11 AM: Obstacle Course: Triage, Fire Suppression, Knots, Damage Assessment, Blanket Carry-Prizes will be awarded.
