Course Length: 40 hours
Course Overview:
The purpose of this course is to provide students with knowledge of the activities, processes, leadership elements, and the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to function within a T3 IMT in a Command or General (C&G) Staff position. Students will learn the roles of each position and how they interact with each other while acting in a specific C&G Staff role throughout the course on a team while moving through an operational period for a given scenario.
This scenario driven course is considered fast paced and challenging, it will require full attention through the duration of the course and will not allow for involvement in day to day work.

Required Prerequisites (all must be dated post March 2019 NIMS revision)
IS-100.C: Introduction to the Incident Command System
IS-200.C: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response
IS-700.B: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
IS-800.D: National Response Framework, An Introduction
ICS-300: Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents
ICS-400: Advanced Incident Command System for Complex Incidents
***All prerequisites must be completed and current before you will be added to the roster***
Lodging will be arranged and paid for by NEMA for Nebraska residents traveling 60 miles or more, Sunday through Thursday nights. Travel and meals are not included.
Space is limited to 24 students. Preference will be given to registrants with open command or general staff position task books.
