Event Details:
A professional development course that teaches students how to create an effective interface between the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the Incident Command/Unified Command (IC/UC). The course uses principles from the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
The course's objectives include:
• Reviewing the responsibilities and functions of the IC/UC and the EOC
• Examining the role of the IC/UC and the EOC in response to an incident
• Focusing on the coordination between the ICS and the EOC
• Explaining the course structure and potential ICS/EOC interface
Who should attend:
The course is intended for emergency management and response personnel at the federal, state, tribal, territorial, local, private industry, volunteer, and nongovernmental levels.

• IS 200
• IS 700
• IS 800
• IS 2200
