Course Overview: Course Length: 30 hours (5 Days)                                                       
The goal of this professional development course is to provide local and state-level emergency responders with an overview of key duties and responsibilities of an Incident Commander within the ICS structure and specifically for a Type III All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT)

 

Preferred Trainees

· Training seats are limited. Seats will be confirmed in a manner that encourages a diverse roster.

· After pre-registration, we will confirm seats. Confirmed participants will be asked to formally register for the course through Nebraska Emergency Management Agency and upload their pre-requisite certificates.

· Animal health emergency responders at state departments of agriculture and boards of animal health, partners in animal industry and academia, and the United States Department of Agriculture will be prioritized.

We anticipate filling all seats. Courses will go on as scheduled!

IS-100.C: Introduction to the Incident Command System
IS-200.C: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response

ICS-300 : Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents

ICS-400: Advanced ICS for Expanding Incidents
IS-700.B: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
IS-800.D: National Response Framework, An Introduction
