Snow and Dangerously Cold Temperatures for Parts of Nebraska

According to the National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley Nebraska, there is a chance for light snow Wednesday night and slightly heavier accumulations are possible Thursday evening.

One to three-inch accumulations of powdery snow is expected. According to NWS, there is still some uncertainty about where exactly the snow will track and the best chance is over northeast Nebraska.

NWS says blowing/drifting snow is possible Thursday night and into Friday morning, with winds up to 25-40 mph.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Thursday to noon on Friday. A Wind Chill Watch is in effect from 6 p.m. Friday to noon on Saturday.
