We are in for another big snow event this week, starting tonight. The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley Nebraska just gave us their latest information on what to look out for.
Snow is expected from this afternoon into Friday. Near-blizzard like conditions are likely tonight into Friday morning, especially in far eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. If you are traveling, be aware of blowing snow due to strong winds.
Cold temperatures are also sticking around through early next week. The coldest wind chills in the -40s to around -50 are expected on Sunday morning.
