EMs Attend NACO Conference

Emergency management representatives were among the more than 900 county officials from across the state who traveled to Kearney for the annual Nebraska Association of County Officials (NACO) Conference, Dec. 8-9. From left, Evie Flessner of Region 21, Amanda Burki of Johnson and Pawnee counties and Tia Loftin of Nebraska Emergency Management Agency were among the participants. Loftin worked with emergency managers on an ICS Formology exercise and NEMA Assistant Director Erv Portis (not pictured) updated local emergency managers on NEMA activities.
