Capstone Course Held

Ten emergency management students started the Basic Emergency Management Certification on Dec. 8 at NEMA. The two-day class course is taught as a capstone to 14 independent study courses offered through the Emergency Management Institute. The course emphasizes various phases of emergency management, including requirements and expectations prior to, during and after an event or incident occurs.
