NEMA Speakers Attend Heartland Extension Disaster Education Network

NEMA staff Chris Schroeder and Leo Larkin spoke Thursday, Nov. 18 at the Heartland Extension Disaster Education Network (Heartland EDEN) workshop in Nebraska City. Heartland EDEN is a team of Extension faculty and professionals from Iowa State, Kansas State, the University of Missouri, and the University of Nebraska working toward improving extension’s ability to prepare and respond to disasters. Schroeder discussed long-term recovery and Larkin addressed wildfire response.
