State and Locals Hold REP Exercise

Members of the Technical Hazards Unit ran a full-day in-house Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) exercise on March 15 at the State Emergency Operations Center at NEMA. This exercise was to simulate what a real response to a Cooper Nuclear Station incident would look like. The exercise was designed to test and validate communications and coordination of tasks, actions and activities that various departments and agencies are responsible for at both state and local levels.
