Overview:
This course provides information and resources to enable participants to develop an effective damage assessment program and conduct rapid and effective needs assessments.

Target Audience:
The target audience for this course includes Local officials who are responsible for assessing, collecting, and reporting damages during and after any event that causes damage of private, public, and critical infrastructure. First response agencies (fire, police, EMS, etc.), planners, and county CERT & ARES volunteers will benefit from this course.

Recommended Prerequisites:
ICS-100, Introduction to the Incident Command System,
IS-0200.b, Incident Command System for Single Resources and Initial Action Inci-dents;
IS-0700.a, National Incident Management System, An Introduction;
IS-0800.b, National Response Framework, An Introduction;
IS-0120.a, An Introduction to Exercises; and
IS-0130, Exercise Evaluation and Improvement Planning

There is no registration fee for attending;
Class size is limited to 24 participants.
